The term “Digital Prepress”
has come to be an elusive definition in our industry. It can
be applied to the most basic of pre-press functions or it
can reference an entire workflow. As a purchaser of printing,
it is essential to have your printer define this phrase accurately.
Does your print supplier define “Digital Prepress”
by simply being able to read your electronic files or is there
a complete digital process in place that takes advantage of
current technology?
The gold standard of today’s
true “Digital Prepress” workflow solution
is measured in two critical areas: direct to plate technology
and an effective digital proofing means. If either of
these items are not perfected by your printer –
then you are at a disadvantage as a customer!
At Inove’ Graphics the term “Digital Prepress”
is not misused. State of the art computer-to-plate
technology is a tried and true reality. Similarly, the
utmost in carefully calibrated proofing solutions are
a component of every print job. While proofing accuracy
(adherence to color and content) is of obvious importance,
the fact that this occurs in a digital realm is key
to a true digital workflow. Our proofing protocols allows
for all levels of scrutiny to be applied, prior to any
physical output. This is “Digital Prepress”.

We utilize Fuji’s new Co-Res
screen technology – here, we are able to achieve 300
line screen reproduction with the same effort and process
control as traditional 175 line screen reproduction. Simultaneously,
this revolutionary process allows a superior density range;
enhanced highlight tones; smoother fleshtones, tints, and
graduations – all with a rosette pattern invisible to
the eye! When partnered with Fuji’s new violet laser
Saber direct-to-plate devise and Fuji’s unsurpassed
proofing array – this is “Digital Prepress”
without the fine print!
Inove’ Graphics employs the use of both drum and advanced
flatbed scanners for optimum results in capturing every nuance’
of detail and color saturation. Whether working from transparencies,
reflective art, photographic or lithographic negatives –
the equipment and skilled craftsmen are up to any challenge.
Photographic enhancement and manipulation are part of what
we do on a daily basis in order to satisfy the needs of our
clientele – across the nation, and around the world!
What's the "secret" of superb
printing? Is it great equipment? Quality materials? Expertise?
From the simplest single-color job to the most complex process-color
project, the "secret" ingredient is the same. You
could say it's an attitude. Or an approach. But we define
it as a commitment to craftsmanship - an ongoing, overriding
dedication to do the job right. Every time. That's precisely
what we offer you. When you print with us, you can be confident
that your job will be done to a very high standard. That's
as true for the smallest, simplest job as it is for the biggest
and most sophisticated.
Perhaps your job can be done perfectly
using only one color. Maybe it needs four-color process plus
a metallic fifth color and spot varnish. But regardless of
the complexity of your job, we have what it takes to do the
job right and on time.
We have four presses of various sizes
at your service. That means that whatever your project, we
have the equipment appropriate to do the job right. Our printing
lineup includes two Akiyama offset presses with six-color
+ inline coating with a maximum sheet size of 28" x 40"
(Printable area of 28” X 40.125”) - among the
finest presses available. They transfer ink to paper with
surgical precision, permitting exacting color control and
registration. Your eyes will be delighted with the quality
of your four color process projects. We've equipped these
fine machines with options that enhance both quality and productivity.
We also have a complete bindery, with fully automated trimming
and folding equipment for optimum speed and accuracy.
